Who is @BudgetDude on Twitter?
Hello, Anthony’s my name and my goal is to pass on commonsense easy to understand budgeting tips, which I hope you will find interesting and helpful. Most people understand what budgeting is all about and agree that spending less than they earn is a good thing, but the reality is that many of us are reliant on credit to supplement our income.
I often find that people think that budgeting is not only difficult but a form of “punishment” when nothing could be further from the truth, why? Because what should come to mind instead of punishment is peace of mind. The peace of mind that comes from being in control of ones finances instead of the other way around. We all know that borrowing money to finance a home, the kids education or even the odd frivolous thing or two that makes life enjoyable is acceptable and necessary as long as we can afford it. If anyone isn’t sure whether or not they can afford something the easiest thing to do is to create ones own “reality check” via a simple budget, because that’s what a budget is, a reality check.
To show you how easy it is to budget, I have produced a short easy to read e-book titled “How To Budget Without Budgeting” which should take less than five minutes to read and a series of very short videos titled “Personal Budgeting questions people have asked.”, as well as a series titled “Budgeting Questions People Should Ask”.
Many people are surprised how easy and effective budgeting can be and often kick themselves for taking so long to getting around to it, so I hope that by sharing my budgeting experience with you via my short e-book and videos that you will see that budgeting is a simple means of helping to ensure you and your family enjoy life to the full.
